    Category: Computer Hardware

Computer hardware refers to the physical components and devices that make up a computer system. This includes the central processing unit (CPU), memory (RAM), storage devices (such as hard drives or solid-state drives), motherboard, power supply, input devices (like keyboards and mice), and output devices (such as monitors and printers). Essentially, hardware encompasses all tangible elements that are involved in the operation of a computer, as opposed to software, which consists of the programs and applications that run on the hardware. Hardware can be categorized into internal components, which are housed within the computer case, and external peripherals, which connect to the computer but are not housed inside. The performance and capability of a computer are heavily dependent on the hardware used.
